Act of friendship, hidden message or conspiracy theory?

Watching The President’s interview I noticed something strange. The blaring yellow flowers. I’m not a florist, but to the best of my ability I’ve identified them as yellow tulips. Historically they are seen as a sign of hopeless love and impossible union. Is this just an overlook or a symbolic message to the arab world? Or is it simply nothing at all?
