Cancer question??

I am a registered nurse. A friend of mines wife was diagnosed with CA about 2 years ago. They discovered about a month after finding she was pregnant. Fear of chemo on a fetus caused them to look into alternatives for treatment. They saw an herbalist and got into "juicing". Add to that major dietary changes and the herbs and supplements. The cancer at its worst was a "Stage 4" She now has a couple of small operable area to her now and her cancer markers on blood tests are dropping. I am a nurse so we all thought they were crazy to try this. Especially after delivering a healthy baby. Our thoughts were to go on chemo NOW. She has done no chemo or radiation. Anyone else have similar stories? I am not trying to sell anything and don;t want anything sold to me. I just want more first hand accounts and some websites where I can research on my own to be able to speak intelligently.
