Why dont bad things happen to bad people?

Don't worry. Karma is alive and well and operates whether we believe in it or not. Everyone gets what they deserve in the end. It may seem that the "bad guys" get away with it, but they don't really. Nobody gets away with anything as each action of ours (for good or bad) sets off a Karmic reaction that ricochets into the future (Karma doesn't care about time). If I hurt somebody now, I may well pay for that (Karmically) in 10, 20 or even 50 years time.
