HD DVD or Blue ray.?

Im going for a hd dvd because i already have a xbox 360 and a full hd tv (small one 24inch so the adaptor will only cost me 160 euro for the newest technologie in movies. My question is thought a do you really believe that there will be a monarchy out of the two blue ray and hd or do you believe that eventually both will be out bringing equall amounts of movies ,Not like now were some movies are just for hd and vise vesrsa?
